What are the precautions for the grease gun? How to maintain it?

1. Before use, check whether the valve spring, steel ball and other parts are in short supply, and the sealing of the piston and oil gun head, and pay attention to check the squeeze effect to ensure the smooth progress of maintenance work.
2. If the operating equipment is inspected and filled with oil, it should be marked to stop operation.
3. When oiling, the oiling nipple at the front end of the oiling rod should be aligned with the grease nipple, and the inclination should not be greater than 8°.
4. When pouring lubricating grease into the oil storage cylinder, do not use lubricating grease that has deteriorated and is contaminated (diluted or contains mud, sand and sundries, etc.), so as not to affect the lubricating effect or block the oil passage.
5. Lubricating grease should fill the entire oil storage tank tightly.

6. When operating the hand pressure lever, the hand pressure lever should be opened and closed to the maximum position. If the hand pressure lever is pressed back and forth several times and there is no feeling of resistance, but the handle remains in place, it means that the lubricating grease has not been injected into the grease nozzle. , should pay attention to check the following aspects:
Valve spring at the head of the grease gun: If the valve spring is broken or fatigued and loose, replace it with a new spring;
Whether there is air in the gun barrel: If there is air in the barrel, you should loosen the screw and press the hand pressure lever to exhaust the air, and then tighten the screw (press the hand pressure lever to see the grease overflowing without crackling sound, then the air exhausted);
No grease can be squeezed out, but there is no resistance feeling when pressing down the hand lever, and the pull rod has all entered the barrel, indicating that the lubricating grease in the barrel has been filled completely, and new grease should be refilled.
7. After the equipment is maintained, the grease gun should be placed in the tool box to prevent mud and sand from entering. If it is not used for a long time, the lubricating grease in the grease gun should be squeezed out and the inside and outside of the barrel should be cleaned, and placed in a proper position to avoid deformation under pressure.
8. Do not use the grease gun as a hammer to beat other objects, in case of damage or deformation and cannot be used.
